“Love received and love given comprise the best form of therapy.”
-Gordon W. Allport, Becoming: Basic Considerations for a Psychology of Personality (1955)
I have served as a family therapist, clinical director, and consultant within the foster care systems in Texas and Washington state, navigating complex service delivery systems and wrestling through challenging work with children, teens, and young adults.
My ultimate goal for foster children, teens, and young adults is that they learn how to live full, joyful, and meaningful lives. A robust therapeutic foster care treatment model facilitates opportunities for healing changes to begin, stirring new confidence and expectancy.
